Job Summary
The Brewers Arms in Poole is the newest pub in the nicolas james portfolio, having moved accross from the Brewhouse and Kitchen into our estate. We are looking for a confident, enthusiastic, customer focused front of house team member to join our exciting journey. Pay is fair plus an equal share of great tips each shift. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring guests enjoy a memorable experience. This role involves engaging with customers, managing orders, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere in a busy hospitality environment. Previous experience in catering, serving, or hospitality is advantageous, but full training will be provided for the right candidate. A passion for food and excellent communication skills are essential to succeed in this dynamic position.
Duties
- Welcome guests warmly and manage their seating arrangements efficiently
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and hygiene
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items, including specials and beverages such as coffee or cocktails
- Maintain cleanliness of the front of house area, including tables, counters, and service stations
- Handle customer enquiries courteously and resolve any issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction
- Support barista duties if required, including preparing coffee and other beverages
- Uphold health and safety standards at all times, adhering to company policies
