Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Nursery Practitioner Level 3 to join our vibrant early childhood education team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to inspire and nurture young children, supporting their development through engaging activities and attentive care. As a key member of our nursery staff, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment where children can thrive. Duties
- Plan and deliver high-quality, age-appropriate activities that promote children’s physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development
- Supervise and support children during daily routines such as playtime, mealtimes, naps, and learning sessions
- Foster a nurturing environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and confidence among children
- Maintain accurate records of children’s progress, attendance, and developmental milestones
- Collaborate with colleagues to implement curriculum plans and ensure compliance with safeguarding policies
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about their child's progress and any concerns
- Lead by example in maintaining high standards of health, safety, and cleanliness within the nursery setting
Qualifications
- Level 3 Childcare qualification or equivalent
- Proven experience working with children in a nursery or early childhood setting
- Strong management and leadership skills to guide junior staff and support team cohesion
- Excellent communication skills in English to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and best practices
- Ability to demonstrate patience, creativity, and enthusiasm in caring for young children
- Valid driving license is desirable for roles involving transportation or outreach activities

Pay: £12.71 per hour
Expected hours: 25.0 – 45.0 per week
