Lighthouse College – Placement & Progression Key Worker
Salary: £22,134.00 per annum (paid evenly across 12 months)
Hours: 30 hours per week: Monday – Thursday 9:00-17:00 (incl. 30 mins break)
Weeks: 47.6 PA (39 term time weeks + 3 training weeks + 5.6 non-working weeks)
Job Role:
You will be responsible for developing and delivering aspects of the course relating to work, employability and life skills as part of the delivery team. This includes implementing effective strategies to enable young people to progress with a key set of work and life skills whilst being able to adapt, support and respond to the individual needs of the young people and your fellow staff.
You will work under your own initiative and alongside and as directed by colleagues whilst in any learning environment, on trips and during break times. You will support students in all elements of the course such as classroom-based learning, on work placements and in the development of personal, life and work skills and maths and English.
Your role is key to the overall success of the College by providing continuity, creative solutions and initiatives across the delivery.

Desirable Experience: working with young people; teaching, supporting or mentoring; knowledge of mental health/ SEND; working in education, training or social care; lived experience; planning and delivering programmes of work/ projects.
Minimum Qualifications: GCSE Maths & English
Essential Skills: Excellent command of Microsoft Office Applications and other IT skills; driving license
