Grade 6: £35,681 - £41,636 per annum including the Oxford University Weighting of £1,730 per annum
Fixed-term (one year), full time (37.5 hours per week)
The role
Join the team behind the world's leading Executive MBA programme
The Executive MBA (EMBA) at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford is ranked No. 1 globally in the QS Executive MBA Rankings 2026. The programme brings together experienced senior leaders from across the world who come to Oxford to develop their leadership, broaden their perspective and make real impact in business and society.
With four active cohorts of around 70 experienced executives from more than 30 countries, the EMBA is one of Oxford Saïd’s flagship programmes.
As EMBA Programme Manager, you will play a central role in planning and delivering an outstanding experience for these leaders throughout their two-year programme, both in Oxford and at international locations. From onboarding through to end of programme ceremonies, you will help create an experience that reflects Oxford’s reputation for excellence.
Why this role matters
The EMBA generates approximately £18 million in annual tuition revenue and plays an important role in Oxford Saïd’s purpose of creating impact from within: transforming individuals, who transform businesses, which transform the world.
This is far more than programme administration. It is an exciting and varied role combining project and event management, stakeholder engagement, leadership of a cohort, innovation and communications to deliver a seamless student experience.
Combining meticulous planning with exceptional customer service, you will become a trusted point of contact for students, faculty and senior colleagues, ensuring every detail works seamlessly behind the scenes so students can focus on learning.
Every cohort is different, bringing diverse interests, expectations and professional experience. This gives you continual opportunities to improve, innovate and help shape the programme experience.
About the team
You will join an innovative, supportive and ambitious EMBA Programme team made up of a Programme Director, Associate Director, Senior Programme Managers, Programme Managers and Programme Coordinators.
Together, the team works collaboratively with colleagues across Admissions, Careers, Faculty Services, Examinations, Facilities, Alumni Relations, Business Development and many other departments.
No two weeks are the same. One week you could be planning an international module, the next leading end-of-course celebrations, hosting dinners in Oxford's historic colleges, supporting world-leading faculty, welcoming influential guest speakers, crafting engaging communications or introducing new initiatives inspired by student feedback.
If you enjoy variety, thrive on responsibility and take pride in building relationships and delivering exceptional experiences, this is a role where you can make a real impact.
Why join the EMBA team?
As part of our team, you'll have the opportunity to:
- Experience the very best of Oxford traditions, from formal dinners in historic colleges to immersive learning in debating chambers, chapels and on rowing along the river.
- Travel and gain international experience through the onsite delivery of overseas modules and working with world-leading executives, faculty and partners across the globe (Latin America, Asia, South Africa and California).
- Develop your skills in an environment that actively invests in your growth, through access to Oxford's exceptional learning opportunities, alongside mentoring, job shadowing, professional training and conferences.
- Join a positive, supportive and collaborative team where your ideas are valued, innovation is encouraged and you have genuine ownership of projects from concept to delivery.
