We are looking for a talented Graduate Product Designer, or an individual with up to two years' industry experience, to join our award-winning in-house design and development team in London.
This is a rare opportunity to work within a company that designs, develops, engineers and commercialises its own products. Working alongside experienced designers and engineers, you will gain hands-on experience across the complete product development process, from research and concept generation through to prototyping, testing, manufacture and launch

Role Overview
As a Graduate Product Designer, you will support the design and development of innovative products that combine exceptional user experience, engineering integrity and commercial viability.
You'll work closely with designers, engineers and colleagues across the business, contributing to projects at every stage of development while building your technical, creative and commercial understanding.
This role offers the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals, develop practical product development skills and play a meaningful role in the creation of products used by customers around the world.
Role Focus
Design & Development

Generate design concepts that respond to user, technical and commercial requirements.

Create sketches, CAD models, visualisation and presentation materials to communicate design intent.

Support product development activities from concept through to production.

Contribute to design reviews, brainstorming sessions and project workshops.

Assist in balancing aesthetics, functionality, manufacturability and cost throughout development
Prototyping & Testing
-
Create and evaluate prototypes, mock-ups and proof-of-concept models.

Support product testing and validation activities.

Document findings and contribute to design refinements and problem-solving activities.

Develop an understanding of how design decisions influence performance, quality and manufacturing outcomes.
Collaboration
-
Work closely with Design, Engineering, Product Management, Marketing, Operations and Manufacturing teams.

Support project communication through presentations, reports and visual materials.

Assist with product documentation, instructions and supporting materials where required.

Contribute positively to a collaborative and creative team environment.
Learning & Growth

Build knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials and assembly methods.

Develop proficiency in product development tools, processes and best practices.

What We're Looking For

Knowledge & Skills

Working knowledge of 3D CAD software, ideally SolidWorks.

Strong sketching, visualisation and communication skills.

Understanding of materials and manufacturing principles.

Ability to translate ideas into physical and digital concepts.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Experience with Adobe Creative Suite is beneficial but not essential.

Interest in emerging digital and AI-driven design tools. Experience using platforms such as Nano Banana, Veo, Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Midjourney or similar tools for ideation, visualisation, communication or research would be advantageous, though not required.
Education & Experience

Degree qualified (or graduating shortly) in Product Design, Industrial Design, Design Engineering or a related discipline.

Graduate or up to two years' relevant industry experience.

Portfolio demonstrating creativity, curiosity, problem-solving ability and a passion for creating physical products.

Evidence of project work that demonstrates strong design thinking, technical understanding and a practical approach to product development.
