We are looking for an enthusiastic, caring and motivated Nursing Associate to join our friendly and supportive practice team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied role and would like to work across both Nursing Associate and Healthcare Assistant duties, supporting our clinical team to provide high-quality care to our patients.
About the role
As part of this dual role, you will work alongside our GPs, Practice Nurses and wider clinical team, providing a range of clinical services and supporting the smooth running of our practice.
Your duties may include:
- Carrying out health checks and routine observations
- Blood pressure, pulse, temperature and oxygen saturation measurements
- Phlebotomy and other blood tests
- ECGs
- NHS Health Checks
- Supporting patients with long-term conditions
- Wound care and dressings
- Vaccinations and immunisations, where appropriately trained
- Supporting the Practice Nursing team with clinical procedures
- Recording accurate clinical information on SystmOne
- Assisting with the monitoring and management of patients
- Supporting the wider clinical team with day-to-day patient care
- Undertaking HCA duties as required
- Working as part of the wider multidisciplinary team
- Maintaining high standards of infection prevention and control
- Ensuring all care is delivered safely and in line with practice policies and procedures
Pay Depending on experience.
Pay: From £15.00 per hour
