EPIC is looking to hire a Housekeeping Manager to work side-by-side with our team and help us deliver the EPIC experiences we’ve become accustomed to.
This is a full-time position based on an average of 40hr working predominantly 5 days out of 7 including weekends.
Above all, successful applicants will be expected to be passionate! You must have a passion for your profession, a basic knowledge of hospitality and previous experience in a Housekeeping Manager role. We’re looking for lovers of great service with proactive personalities that can anticipate the needs of those around them.
Duties
- Supervise daily housekeeping operations, ensuring all areas are cleaned efficiently and thoroughly according to established standards
- Lead, motivate, and train housekeeping staff to uphold quality service and safety protocols
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules, checklists, and maintenance routines to optimize workflow
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public spaces, and staff facilities to ensure compliance with cleanliness and safety standards
- Coordinate with other departments to meet guest needs promptly and resolve any service issues effectively
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring cost-effective procurement and usage
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by monitoring performance metrics and implementing best practices
Requirements
- Proven experience in housekeeping management within a hospitality or similar environment
- Strong communication skills in English to effectively lead teams and interact with guests and staff
- Valid driving license with a clean driving record for transportation-related responsibilities
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, safety procedures, and equipment operation
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with the capacity to train and motivate team members
Pay: £30,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
