As a pupil care and welfare officer at Tulloch Primary you will:
- Develop positive relationships with young people while promoting our ethos and values.
- Help to maintain the safety of pupils arriving/leaving school and during interval and lunchtime.
- Encourage respect for the school environment.
- Support with early identification and de-escalation of potential situations which may lead to challenging behaviour.
- Work alongside SLT in improving attendance and late-coming by monitoring attendance data and patterns, liaising with pupils and parents as appropriate.
- Undertake associated administrative duties with this task.
- Make contact with parents on routine matters.
- Liaise with with and relaying messages to the senior leadership team.
- Undertake any other duties or associated admin that will support the wellbeing of our pupils.

- You must have experience of working with people.
- Ideally you will have experience of working in a health and safety environment.
- There are no formal qualifications required for this post however ideally you will have evidence of educational qualifications gained.
- You must have the ability to handle issues with tact and sensitivity.
- You must be tolerant.
- You must have the ability to organise agreed priorities.
- You must be able to communicate and collaborate effectively with colleagues and pupils.
