Duties
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to complete multiple deliveries across designated routes
- Load and unload packages, often involving heavy lifting, ensuring items are secure during transit
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve issues promptly
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety compliance
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and reporting of any incidents or delays
- Follow all traffic laws, safety procedures, and company policies to promote a safe working environment
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar driving role, preferably with multi-drop routes
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Experience with commercial driving vehicles such as vans or trucks
- Physical ability to lift heavy packages repeatedly throughout the shift
- Warehouse experience is advantageous for handling package loading
- Knowledge of local roads, navigation skills, and adherence to safety regulations
Van required + insurances. Pay per parcel delivered so salary varies from day to day.
