Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Bar and Waiting Staff. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a vibrant hospitality environment, delivering exceptional guest experiences. The successful candidates will be responsible for providing friendly service, maintaining high standards of food safety, and ensuring our guests enjoy a memorable visit. Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. All positions are paid, including internships, and offer a dynamic working atmosphere where teamwork and professionalism are valued.
Responsibilities
- Serve food and beverages efficiently and courteously to guests
- Take accurate orders and relay them promptly to the kitchen or bar staff
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area and service stations
- Ensure adherence to food safety standards and hygiene regulations
- Assist with food preparation tasks when necessary, supporting kitchen staff
- Upsell menu items to maximise sales opportunities while providing excellent guest service
- Handle cash transactions accurately and operate POS systems
- Provide attentive guest services, addressing any special requests or concerns promptly
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service delivery
- Support team members in maintaining a welcoming and professional environment
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or related roles is desirable but not mandatory
- Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques
- Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities
- Good communication skills and a friendly demeanour when interacting with guests
- Ability to perform basic maths accurately for billing purposes
- Experience with upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and sales
- Kitchen experience or culinary background is a plus but not essential
- Flexibility to work during peak hours, including evenings and weekends as required
