We require an experienced Handyman with Joinery skills to join our team of installers working on private home insulation, soundproofing and flooring jobs. The position is based out of our East Kilbride depot. A valid Driving License with under 7 points is preferred for this role, as is being 25+ for insurance purposes, but not essential.
Experience of Loft Ladders, flooring, partitioning and drywalling preferred as is insulation installing. Full training our products will be provided if you have the required skills..

- Wall, ceiling and floor sound insulation
- Wall, ceiling and floor thermal insulation
The job is predominantly joinery based but also includes installing insulation as part of most jobs. You will be responsible for seeing a job through which could involve rip out as well as Joinery and Insulation work.
It is essential that you are prepared to work under floors from time to time as we need the flexibility to install the jobs that are booked in, although most of our work is above floors.
The shift starts at 7.30 at the Unit in Kelvin industrial Estate and involves travelling throughout the central belt of Scotland, sometimes further to carry out installs as part of a team of 2 or more. We aim to finish at 4.30 Monday to Thursday and 1.30 on Fridays or as required to complete the job. Jobs are balanced to try and give as regular hours as possible and as close to 40 hours a week as practical (some weeks a little more some weeks less). You are paid for the shift regardless of when you finish, it can be anytime between 3 and 5 with occasional early or later ones.
The job can involve occasional overnight stays from time to time which are on a voluntary basis.
