Dental Associate – Part-Time Opportunity

Working Days: Thursday & Friday (9:00am – 5:00pm)

We are a busy, family run dental practice located in the heart of Shinfield, Berkshire, looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Dental Associate to join our friendly and supportive team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to take over an established patient list within our busy four surgery practice, offering a mix of NHS and private dentistry.

You will be stepping into a well maintained list, allowing you to focus on delivering high-quality care from day one. We are looking for a motivated clinician who enjoys working in a fast-paced NHS environment, while also having a passion for private and cosmetic dentistry.

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our reputable dental practice. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care, performing examinations, diagnosing issues, and developing treatment plans. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments of patients’ oral health
- Diagnose dental conditions using clinical evaluation and medical imaging techniques
- Develop personalised treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs
- Perform various dental procedures including restorations, extractions, root canals, and cosmetic treatments
- Utilise CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software for designing restorations and prosthetics
- Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with regulatory standards
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and other team members to ensure seamless patient care
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in dentistry and participate in ongoing professional development
Experience
- Qualified Dentist with valid registration with the General Dental Council (GDC) or relevant regulatory body
- Proven experience in general dentistry, ideally with exposure to restorative and cosmetic procedures
- Proficiency in CAD software for designing dental restorations is desirable
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy relevant to dental practice
- Experience with medical imaging techniques such as X-rays and digital radiography is preferred
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain procedures clearly to patients
- Commitment to delivering compassionate patient care within a professional environment
