We're looking for a highly organised, proactive Routing & Service Coordinator to help keep our nationwide field service operation running smoothly.
We provide installation, repair and maintenance services to domestic customers across the UK, specialising in home technology solutions including TV aerials, satellite systems, etc.
As part of our Service Centre Team, you'll play a vital role in coordinating our field engineers, supporting customers and ensuring our daily service runs efficiently. You'll also provide cover for managers by co-ordinating and planning engineer schedules, making real-time adjustments and helping maximise productivity while delivering an outstanding customer experience.
No two days are the same, so we're looking for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, solving problems and communicating confidently with customers, colleagues and engineers.
What you'll be doing
- Supporting our nationwide team of Field Engineers throughout the working day.
- Planning and updating engineer schedules when providing cover for managers.
- Allocating new bookings and adjusting schedules in response to cancellations, delays and operational changes.
- Communicating appointment updates and managing customer expectations.
- Resolving routing, scheduling and operational queries.
- Processing customer card payments and issuing invoices.
- Maintaining accurate customer and job information within our CRM system.
- Working closely with colleagues across the Service Centre teams to ensure excellent service delivery.
What we're looking for
You'll be someone who enjoys organising, communicating and finding practical solutions.
Ideally, you'll have:
- Experience in scheduling, routing, service coordination or operational support.
- Experience supporting field-based engineers or mobile workforces.
- Excellent organisational and planning skills.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- The ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Good IT skills and experience using CRM or scheduling systems.
- A proactive, positive and team-focused approach.
Experience within a field service, engineering, utilities, telecoms or logistics environment would be an advantage but isn't essential.
