Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks across all areas of the pub and kitchen, including floors, surfaces, restrooms, and dining spaces
- Ensure all dining and bar areas are kept tidy, organized, and hygienic throughout operating hours
- Handle waste disposal efficiently while adhering to health and safety regulations
- Clean kitchen equipment, utensils, and storage areas to maintain food safety standards
- Restock cleaning supplies and report any maintenance issues promptly
- Follow established cleaning schedules and safety protocols to ensure consistent standards are met
- Support team members during busy periods by maintaining cleanliness in high-traffic zones
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles, preferably within hospitality settings
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices
- Good physical stamina, including the ability to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
