Hunters 4 Staff are working with a well-established manufacturing business in Gloucester who are looking to add a skilled CNC Programmer to their team. This is a hands-on role where you'll take ownership of programming and play a key part in improving production efficiency.
What you'll be doing:
- Writing, editing and optimising CNC programs for turning machines
- Working with Fanuc controls to ensure accurate and efficient machining
- Supporting shop floor teams with set-ups and troubleshooting issues
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings to create precise programs
- Collaborating with engineers to improve processes and reduce cycle times
- Carrying out basic prove-outs and making adjustments as needed
What we're looking for:
- Proven experience as a CNC Programmer (turning)
- Strong knowledge of Fanuc controls
- Confident reading and interpreting technical drawings
- A practical, problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment
