The Vacancy
Workspace is home to London’s brightest businesses, and our dedicated Head of Health & Safety plays an integral part in ensuring that Workspace complies with all relevant regulations and maintains a safe working environment.
You will ensure our policies and procedures align with current regulations and oversee the implementation of suitable controls.
Your responsibilities will include communicating health and safety policies, conducting audits, and mitigating risks. Collaborating with senior management, you will design and manage health and safety activities, making recommendations for organisational changes. Additionally, you will manage risk registers and provide expert advice on H&S implications.
If you are passionate about promoting a culture of health & safety and have a strong background in compliance, risk management, and people management, this is an exciting opportunity for you.
What we need from you
Relevant previous job experience
Vocational training – NEBOSH or an NVQ Level 6 Diploma
Knowledge of asbestos management processes, preferably holding a BOHS P405 Managing Asbestos in Buildings qualification
Proficient in Microsoft Office with excellent written communication and verbal
Excellent organisation & time management
Previous line management experience
Confidence in presenting to stakeholders
