We are looking for an experienced Yard Person to join our busy and growing team at our Bothwell branch. This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced builders merchant environment, ideal for someone who is reliable, hardworking, and enjoys working as part of a team.
Previous experience working within a builders merchant is essential. A Counterbalance Forklift Licence would be beneficial.

Key Responsibilities:
- Loading and unloading customer and supplier vehicles safely and efficiently
- Preparing customer orders accurately
- Assisting customers within the yard
- Operating a counterbalance forklift when required
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised yard
- Stock handling and general yard duties
- Supporting the warehouse and sales teams when required
Requirements:
- Previous builders merchant experience essential
- Counterbalance Forklift Licence beneficial
- Good knowledge of building materials preferred
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to work safely in a busy yard environment
- Good communication and customer service skills
