The Role
We are seeking an experienced hotel sales professional to develop new business within the hospitality sector.
This is not a recruitment consultant position. We are looking for someone who understands the commercial and operational challenges hotels face and can build long-term partnerships with hotel decision-makers.
You will be responsible for generating new business, developing existing accounts and promoting our workforce solutions for both temporary staffing and permanent recruitment.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Management:
- Act as the main point of contact for client inquiries and requests.
- Develop new business across independent hotels, hotel groups and relevant industries.
- Generate new business through networking referrals, cold calling and client visits.
- Build relationships with General Managers, Hotel Managers, Operations Managers, HR Managers and Department Heads.
- Identify opportunities across all hotel departments.
- Conduct client meetings and business presentations.
- Promote our temporary staffing and permanent recruitment services.
- Prepare proposals and negotiate commercial agreements.
- Maintain an active sales pipeline using the company CRM.
- Attend networking events and industry exhibitions.
- Work closely with the operations team to ensure excellent client service.
- Achieve agreed sales and revenue targets.
- Monitor competitor activity and indentify market opportunity.
Marketing and Brand Development:
- Identify Opportunities to promote the Company's services within the Hospitality Sector.
- Working with Operations Director on sales campaigns and marketing initiatives.
- Encouraging client testimonails, referrals and case studies.
- Support the launch of new services and business initiatives.
Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Freelance Business Development consultants.
- Monitoring sales activity and business development performance.
- Assisting with client meetings and commercial presentations where required.
- Ensuring all opportunities are accurately recorded within the CRM system.Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare regular reports on recruitment activities, client satisfaction, and office operations.
- Analyse data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
Candidate Profile
- We are specifically seeking candidates with a hotel sales background.
Essential
- Previous experience within a hotel’s Sales Department.
- Experience as a Sales Executive, Sales Manager, Senior Sales Manager, Director of Sales or Director of Sales & Marketing.
- Strong understanding of hotel operations.
- Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain commercial relationships.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to business development.
Desirable
- Existing network within the London hospitality market.
- Experience working with hotel groups.
- Knowledge of temporary staffing and workforce solutions.
