Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Part Time Kitchen Assistant to support our culinary team in delivering high-quality food services. The successful candidate will assist with food preparation, maintain cleanliness, and ensure smooth kitchen operations. Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping, peeling, and basic cooking tasks
- Support the kitchen team in maintaining cleanliness and organisation of work areas
- Help with setting up and clearing dining areas before and after service
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is used safely and correctly
- Follow health and safety regulations at all times to uphold hygiene standards
- Assist with serving food and beverages as required during service periods
- Restock supplies and ingredients to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Support the team during busy periods to deliver excellent customer service
Skills
- Experience in food preparation or cooking is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment is advantageous
- Knowledge of kitchen safety and hygiene standards
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail
- Friendly demeanour with excellent communication skills
