Job Summary
CPB Northwest Ltd are seeking a skilled Tractor & Trailer Operator with HGV Class 1 to join our team in the Kendal LA9 area. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining Moxy equipment on construction sites, ensuring efficient and safe handling of materials.
Must hold either CPCS A56 or NPORS N205
Duties
- Operate Tractor & Trailer safely and efficiently across various construction sites.
- Conduct routine inspections of the equipment to identify and report any maintenance needs or safety concerns.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials, ensuring correct placement according to project specifications.
- Maintain accurate logs of daily operations, including fuel consumption, load counts, and maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with site supervisors and other team members to coordinate activities and meet project deadlines.
- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a secure working environment for all personnel.
Skills
- Proven experience in operating Articulated Tractor or similar heavy machinery.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to understand equipment functions and perform basic maintenance tasks.
- Experience with excavators is advantageous, providing versatility in handling different types of machinery.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to follow safety protocols diligently.
- Good communication skills to work effectively within a team environment.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and adapt to changing site requirements.
