Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Cleaner to join our team at Ansty Business Park, Coventry.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout site and welfare cabins, including offices, canteen facilities and toilet areas. This role is suited to someone who takes pride in their work, can work independently and is committed to delivering consistently high standards.
Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided. The successful applicant will become part of a supportive and professional team that values reliability, attention to detail and excellent service.
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning duties throughout site and welfare cabins, including offices, canteen facilities and toilet areas.
- Dust, wipe and sanitise desks, workstations, tables and other surfaces.
- Vacuum, mop and maintain all floor surfaces.
- Clean and sanitise canteen and kitchen areas, including sinks, worktops and appliance exteriors.
- Clean and sanitise toilet facilities to a high standard.
- Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
- Replenish consumables such as toilet rolls, hand soap and paper towels as required.
- Report any maintenance issues, damage or health and safety concerns to management promptly.
- Follow company health and safety procedures at all times.
- Use cleaning equipment and products safely and effectively in accordance with training provided.
- Ensure all areas remain clean, tidy and presentable at all times.
Qualifications
- Previous cleaning experience is advantageous but not essential.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Reliable, punctual and trustworthy.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- Professional and courteous approach.
- Ability to work efficiently within allocated timeframes.
Security Requirements
Due to the nature of this site, successful applicants must:
- Be eligible to work in the UK.
- Be willing to undergo a Basic DBS check.
- Be willing to obtain and maintain BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) clearance.
- Be able to provide suitable identification and right-to-work documentation.
