Drapes-UK are now recruiting for an experienced machinist to work within our curtain and roman blind workrooms at our Long Eaton based factory. Drapes have been manufacturing quality soft furnishings for over 40 years with a workforce of 65+.
The role offers piece rate incentives allowing the candidate to earn over the hourly base rate. The base rate starts at £12.71
The role will require the successful candidate to work full time hours with start and finish times open to discussion. Weekday evenings and weekend overtime is also available.
About you:
You will be confident working with a variety of fabrics and materials, ensuring a high standard of finish and attention to detail across all products. Experience operating industrial sewing machines and producing quality soft furnishings, such as cushions, roman blinds, and curtains, would be highly beneficial.
You will be organised, reliable, and able to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. A keen eye for detail, pride in craftsmanship, and the ability to follow specifications accurately are essential for this role.
