Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and versatile General Labourer to join our team. This role involves hands-on work across various, mainly outdoor and construction, improvement, maintanence and cleaning projects, requiring physical stamina, practical skills, and a proactive attitude. The successful candidate will contribute to maintaining and developing , assisting with the above tasks, and supporting maintenance activities.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with all works
- Operating hand tools.
- Assisting with construction activities such as material handling, site clearance, and basic building tasks
- Performing routine maintenance on equipment and tools to ensure safety and efficiency
- Maintaining a tidy work environment by clearing debris and ensuring safety standards are met at all times
- Supporting team members with various labouring duties as required on-siteSkills
- Mechanical knowledge related to power tools and basic machinery operation
- Experience with construction sites or general building activities
- Ability to use hand tools safely and effectively
- Good organisational skills with the capacity to follow instructions precisely
- Physical fitness to perform manual labour over extended periods,
- A proactive approach with excellent teamwork skills and a keen eye for safety standards. This role is ideal for individuals eager to develop their skills in construction style or maintenance sectors while contributing positively to diverse projects. All positions are paid in accordance with employment regulations.
Pay: From £12.71 per hour
Experience:
- constuction, roofing, general laboring style: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (required)
