JDT Power Ltd is embarking on an exciting phase of significant growth and we are expanding our operational delivery team to support our future electricity network projects. We are currently seeking two experienced and proactive ICP Site Supervisors to lead on-site construction activities and oversee site teams across our electricity network connections. This is a pivotal site-based role, and we are looking for a dedicated supervisor with a proven track record of coordinating daily site activities, managing direct labour and subcontractors, and maintaining strict compliance with safety, quality, and engineering standards within the utilities sector.

Job Purpose
Accountable to the Senior Delivery Manager for the safe, efficient, and compliant delivery of electricity network construction projects across LV, HV, and EHV networks. This role involves supervising site teams and subcontractors, coordinating daily site activities, and ensuring strict compliance with DNO and IDNO specifications to deliver projects to the required quality, programme, and budget. The objective is to promote a positive site safety culture while maintaining excellent relationships with customers, network operators, local authorities, and internal stakeholders.
Mandatory Qualifications and Competencies

SHEA Power
- Previous experience supervising electricity infrastructure or utility construction projects
- Experience within an ICP, DNO, IDNO, or utility contractor environment
- Strong knowledge of LV and HV network construction
- Excellent understanding of utility excavation and reinstatement
- Strong leadership, people management, communication, and organisational skills
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and construction specifications
- Full UK Driving Licence
Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office

Key Responsibilities

Supervise all site construction for new electricity connections and network infrastructure.
- Lead direct labour and specialist subcontractors safely and efficiently across daily operations.
- Ensure all on-site works strictly adhere to approved drawings, client requirements, and DNO/IDNO engineering specifications.
- Monitor progress against project programmes, resolve daily site issues proactively, and complete necessary quality compliance records.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure superior standards of workmanship and quality.
- Promote a positive health and safety culture on site, ensuring compliance with CDM regulations, NERS standards, and company policies.
- Deliver daily site briefings, toolbox talks, and ensure full implementation of RAMS.
- Investigate and report accidents, incidents, and near misses in line with company reporting procedures.
- Coordinate site activities including excavation, cable installation, jointing, and commissioning.
- Liaise effectively with DNOs, IDNOs, local authorities, and third-party utility providers.
- Plan daily workloads and monitor the efficient usage of labour, plant, and materials.
Act as the primary site contact for customers and local stakeholders to resolve queries promptly.

Salary: £40,000 to £45,000 per annum (dependent on knowledge, skills, and experience).
