Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Part-time Chef to join our culinary team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Assist in meal preparation, ensuring timely delivery of orders
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations
- Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation and ordering supplies as needed
- Support the team during busy periods by efficiently managing multiple tasks
- Ensure all food is presented attractively and served at the appropriate temperature
- Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to maintain a safe working environment
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking, preferably within a restaurant or catering setting
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service times
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
