LML Products has over 50 years of experience manufacturing high-quality electrical and mechanical components for customers across the Railway, Utilities, Defense, and Industrial sectors. We are looking for an experienced Maintenance / Tooling Engineer to join our manufacturing team.
What You Will Be Doing
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on manufacturing equipment
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic faults
- Responding quickly to machinery breakdowns to minimise downtime
- Maintaining, repairing, modifying, and optimising production tooling
- Assisting with installation and commissioning of new machinery
- Identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities
- Maintaining accurate maintenance records
- Working closely with production and engineering teams
What We Are Looking For
Essential:
- Experience maintaining manufacturing or production equipment
- Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable:
- PLC fault-finding experience
- Experience with press tools and precision tooling
- Welding or fabrication experience
- Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, gearboxes, and drive systems
