We have been baking and serving fresh bagels in the Brighton area for 30 years this year and are looking for part time Counter Servers to join our family run team, working mainly at our Bond Street store in the heart of Brighton, as well as occasionally working in our other stores located in Hove and on St James's Street.
Your responsibilities will include maintaining standards and delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced environment, being confident and reliable.
The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, have a passion for food, and values working for a local Brighton business.
Pay
- Age 21 and over: £12.80
- Age 18 to 20: £10.85
Key Responsibilities:
- Taking customer orders and delivering exceptional customer service.
- Serving customers, filling bagels, making hot drinks and cleaning.
- Operating our till system and handling transactions accurately.
- Ensuring all food preparation tasks are being completed as advised by the store Supervisor or Manager running the shift.
- Maintaining cleanliness of the store and preparation areas.
- Work alongside team members to ensure a smooth operation.
- Ensuring adherence to food safety and hygiene standards.
- Ensure daily compliance checks are completed.
- Maintain current knowledge of company policies and procedures.
Requirements & Experience:
- Experience in a similar role within hospitality preferred, but not mandatory.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage positively with both team members and customers.
- A passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering outstanding service.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Confident and exceptional customer service.
- Food safety knowledge preferred, but not mandatory.
