Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Front of House Staff to join our vibrant team. The successful candidate will be the welcoming face of our establishment, ensuring guests receive exceptional service in a warm and professional environment. Previous experience in hospitality, catering, or restaurant settings is highly desirable, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are equally valued. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills in food service, customer relations, and hospitality operations.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
- Serve food and drinks in a courteous manner, maintaining high standards of presentation
- Handle cash transactions and operate POS systems with precision
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, ensuring compliance with food safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, counters, and service stations
- Support baristas with beverage preparation when required
- Ensure guest satisfaction by responding promptly to requests or concerns
- Uphold health and safety regulations at all times, including proper food handling procedures
Qualifications
- Previous experience in catering, serving, or hospitality is preferred but not essential; a friendly personality and eagerness to learn are key qualities
- Knowledge of food safety standards is advantageous
- Experience in food preparation or working as a barista is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanour
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends if required
- A strong team player with a positive attitude towards delivering outstanding customer service
