Salary: £50,000–£51,000 + bonus opportunities

A
WCA Clinical Assessor role could be the perfect next step. You’ll assess how an individual's health conditions affect their
functional ability and capacity for work, using your clinical expertise to produce clear, objective and evidence-based reports.
The Role:
- Conduct structured Work Capability Assessments (WCA) via telephone and face-to-face
- Take detailed clinical histories and assess functional limitations
- Review and critically analyse medical evidence
- Assess the impact of physical and psychological conditions on functional capacity
- Apply clinical reasoning and professional judgement
- Produce accurate, objective and evidence-based reports
- Work within relevant DWP assessment criteria and clinical guidelines

Who We're Looking For? This role is specifically for
registered healthcare professionals with relevant clinical experience:
- Registered Nurses – (Adult, Mental Health, Learning Disability) NMC
- Physiotherapists – HCPC
- Occupational Therapists – HCPC
You should be confident using
clinical assessment, history-taking, evidence evaluation and professional judgement within your clinical practice.
Please note: This position is specifically for the registered healthcare professions listed above. Applications from
Social Workers, Healthcare Assistants, Support Workers, Receptionists, Administrators or other non-registered professions will not meet the requirements.
