We are a well-established food production business looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter to join our friendly team for the summer peak trade.
This is an important role supporting the smooth running of our kitchen and production areas by ensuring high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and organisation are maintained at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Washing and sanitising kitchen equipment, trays, utensils and production tools.
- Cleaning machinery and equipment in accordance with food hygiene procedures.
- Maintaining a clean and tidy kitchen and production environment.
- Sweeping, mopping and sanitising floors and work surfaces.
- Emptying bins and disposing of waste correctly.
- Assisting with stock movement and storing deliveries when required.
- Following all food safety, hygiene and health & safety procedures.
- Supporting the wider production team with general duties as needed.
About You
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
- Able to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Good attention to detail and a commitment to high cleaning standards.
- Physically fit and comfortable carrying out manual tasks.
- Previous experience as a Kitchen Porter or Cleaner is helpful but not essential, as full training will be provided.
