About the Role
We are hiring Trainee Sales Representatives through a Coventry City Council-supported employment programme aimed at helping young people start their careers.
No prior experience is required — full training and a structured sales approach will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Making outbound calls to potential customers
- Following a structured sales script
- Introducing products/services and generating interest
- Recording call outcomes accurately
- Developing communication and confidence skills

- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Strong communication skills
- Confidence speaking on the phone (or willingness to build this)
- Reliable and motivated individuals
Eligibility Criteria (Essential)
This role is part of a local employment initiative with specific eligibility requirements. To apply, you must:
- Be aged 18–21
- Live within the CV1–CV6 postcode areas
- Not be in full-time education
- Be willing to register with Coventry Job Shop if successful
- Have the right to work in the UK (we do not offer visa sponsorship)
