We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista to join our vibrant team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, providing friendly and attentive service.
- Handle food safety procedures diligently, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards at all times.
- Manage cash register operations, including processing payments accurately using till systems.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace, including cleaning equipment and serving areas regularly.
- Engage with customers to enhance their experience, addressing any special requests or concerns promptly.
- Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for both staff and customers.
Skills
- Barista experience or background in food service is desirable but not essential; training will be provided.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures.
- Ability to serve customers efficiently with a friendly demeanour.
- Good time management skills to handle busy periods effectively.
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
