Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Waiters and Waitresses to join our vibrant hospitality team. This role involves delivering exceptional guest service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for food and beverage service, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for detail. Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requirements are accommodated
- Serve food and drinks promptly and professionally, maintaining high standards of presentation
- Upsell menu items to maximise guest satisfaction and sales opportunities
- Ensure all health and safety standards, including food safety protocols, are strictly followed
- Assist in setting up tables, clearing dishes, and maintaining cleanliness of the dining area
- Handle guest queries courteously and resolve any issues promptly to ensure a positive experience
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and smooth operation of the service flow
- Manage cash transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system
- Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, including ingredients and preparation methods
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
- Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques is desirable
- Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities
- Good communication skills and a friendly demeanour to provide outstanding guest services
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy environment
- Basic maths skills for handling payments and bills accurately
- Familiarity with upselling techniques to enhance guest experience and revenue generation
- A proactive attitude with a genuine passion for hospitality and customer care
