Night Shift (Monday - Thursday 16:00-02:00) £17.16 per hour +£25 per night shift allowance (Total £19.33 per hour)

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES
Undertake inspection of parts processed through Arrowsmith Inspection department. Work with production and quality engineering to process parts in an effective/timely manner.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Inspection of parts where required in line with company policies, procedures and documentation such as engineering drawings, and inspection control plans.
· Ability to use inspection equipment including callipers, micrometres, OGP, CMM (Aberlink Software), and Keyence technology and hardness testing.
· Competent when undertaking traditional manual inspection.
· Raise quarantine documentation where required.
· Work with QE’s and Production Incident team to support product disposition.
· Support Quality Clinic activities where required.
· Interact with ERP System and data collection software such as Javelin and Visual FAI.
· Work effectively with Engineering, Manufacturing and Operational teams to eliminate any barriers that may affect the quality.
· Quality systems experience in ISO9001 / AS9100
· Key customer requirements knowledge, Rolls-Royce, Rolls-Royce CS, Meggitt, SAFRAN, Airbus
· Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing GD&T
· Understanding and implementation of best practice inspection methods
· Operate as part of a team that makes the most effective use of Inspection resource
· Any other tasks considered commensurate with your role by your Manager.
KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
· Experience of working within a manufacturing environment in essential.
· Have served a recognised apprenticeship or equivalent level 3 qualification in inspection.
· Computer literate, ideally with sound knowledge of Microsoft office packages (excel, word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
· Good problem solving skills.
· Conversant with Quality procedures and with inspection techniques.
Have previous Computerised Measurement Solutions (CMS) experience is desirable.
· Educated to minimum of a grade C in GCSE Maths and English.
· Have the ability to read, use, understand and interpret all aspects of engineering drawings
· Ability to set up inspection equipment
· A good standard of written and oral communication skills
· Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team
· Flexible and pro-active approach to ensure deadlines are met
· Experience of working in a pressurised environment
· Experience of using measuring equipment and other inspection techniques
· Willingness to work weekends and unsociable hours as and when required to meet customer demands.
