We're looking for a motivated and customer-focused Customer Service Advisor / Transport Planner to join our busy transport office. If you enjoy solving problems, working in a fast-paced environment, and being part of a supportive team, we'd love to hear from you.
As the first point of contact for our customers, drivers and internal teams, you'll play a key role in ensuring deliveries and collections run smoothly while delivering exceptional customer service every step of the way.
What You'll Be Doing
- Managing customer enquiries by telephone and email.
- Providing delivery updates and resolving customer queries professionally and efficiently.
- Building strong relationships with customers, drivers and colleagues.
- Coordinating the day-to-day planning of deliveries and collections.
- Maintaining accurate customer and transport records.
- Helping the team achieve service and operational KPI targets.
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes and enhance the customer experience.
What We're Looking For
We're more interested in attitude than industry experience. If you're organised, enjoy working with people and thrive in a busy environment, we can teach you the rest.
You'll ideally have:
- Previous experience in a customer service, administration or transport role.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
- Experience using CRM or transport management systems (desirable but not essential).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a varied workload.
- A positive, proactive approach to problem solving.
- Great attention to detail and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- A team-focused attitude with the confidence to work independently when required.
