We are opening a brand new, small three-bed children's home in Welling caring for young people aged 8 to 17 with autism and SEMH needs, and we are looking for an exceptional Registered Manager to lead it.
This is your chance to shape a home from day one: building the team, setting the culture and taking it through Ofsted registration to a Good or Outstanding home. You will have full operational and regulatory leadership, with directors committed to backing you and to growing the group, so there is real scope to progress and earn more as we expand.
You will need:
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or be ready to enrol on appointment)
- At least 2 years in residential childcare within the last 5 years, including at least 1 year supervising staff
- Strong knowledge of the Children's Homes Regulations 2015, the Quality Standards and Ofsted inspection
- A genuine passion for keeping children safe, and the ability to pass an enhanced DBS and Ofsted fit-person interview
Experience of opening or registering a home, and of supporting children with autism or SEMH, is a real advantage.
