Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and passionate Club & Community Cricket Coach to inspire and develop players across all age groups and skill levels. Duties
- Plan and deliver dynamic cricket coaching sessions tailored to adults and different age groups and skill levels
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and motivating environment that encourages teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal growth
- Develop training programs that improve technical skills, tactical understanding, and physical fitness of participants
- Support club events, tournaments, and community outreach initiatives to promote cricket participation
- Provide constructive feedback to players to enhance their development and confidence
- Collaborate with club administrators, volunteers, and parents to ensure smooth session operations
- Maintain equipment, track attendance, and ensure compliance with safety standards during all activities
Experience
- Proven sports coaching experience, preferably within cricket or similar team sports
- Minimum ECB Level 2 coaching qualification
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and engage participants of all ages
- Ability to plan structured coaching sessions that balance skill development with fun
- Knowledge of cricket techniques, and safeguarding is essential
- Enthusiastic team player committed to fostering positive community relationships
