We’re looking for a motivated and practical Water Hygiene Technician to join our friendly, professional team at Dantek. This is a field-based role, travelling daily to customer sites across the South East and London to help control and prevent Legionnaires’ disease.
Location: Must live in Reading/Slough and have easy access to motorway network
Salary: Starting on £24785 - £26000 DOE increasing after training + overtime opportunities
No prior water hygiene experience? No problem. If you’ve worked in any field-based role before — plumbing, maintenance, delivery driving, facilities management etc. — and enjoy working independently, meeting people, and problem-solving, we’d love to hear from you.
- At least 2 year’s experience in any field-based role (delivery driving, maintenance, plumbing, vending, etc.)
- Full UK driving licence (held 12+ months)
- Live close to M4 motorway junction
- Good practical/mechanical skills & attention to detail
- Report writing skills
- Plumbing skills advantageous
What you’ll do:
- Clean & disinfect water tanks and showers
- Monitor water systems and take water samples
- Handle chemicals safely (training provided)
- Service Thermostatic Mixing Valves (TMVs)
- Travel daily to customer sites across the region
