Which is where you come in...
THE ROLE IN PLAIN ENGLISH:
We're looking for someone to work exclusively inside our Creative Team, taking ownership of one of our flagship long-form YouTube channels.
You'll be the talented editor who transforms raw footage into polished, engaging videos that people genuinely want to watch.
You'll be the creative thinker who knows how to use pacing, storytelling and motion graphics to maximise audience retention.
You'll be the skilled editor who combines expert Premiere Pro editing with exceptional After Effects work to produce content that stands out.
And yes, technically, part of this role is about editing videos.
But this is not a job where you'll spend your days making dull corporate content.
You won't be churning out boring videos that nobody watches.
You won't be making endless changes because there's no creative direction.
Because the truth is, we're building one of the UK's leading business content brands.
Every video we publish matters.
Every second of audience retention counts.
And our content is constantly evolving, which means you'll have the freedom to experiment, improve and raise the creative bar.
So we need someone with exceptional editing skills, a passion for motion graphics, an eye for detail, and the creativity to produce videos that keep people watching.
YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
- Owning the complete edit of one of our flagship YouTube shows from start to finish.
- Creating edits with exceptional pacing, storytelling and audience retention.
- Designing high-quality motion graphics, animated text, lower thirds, transitions and visual effects that strengthen the story and reinforce the Entrepreneurs Circle brand.
- Handling the full post-production process including colour grading, audio treatment and mixing, music selection and captions.
- Maintaining an exceptionally high creative standard across every project.
- Building repeatable editing and motion graphics systems that improve both quality and efficiency.
- Using YouTube Studio analytics to identify opportunities to improve video performance and audience retention.
- Working closely with the wider Creative Team to deliver one to two high-quality long-form YouTube videos every week.

- You've got several years of professional video editing experience.

WHAT YOUR TYPICAL DAY MIGHT LOOK LIKE
7:50am: Cruise into Blythe Valley Park.
7:55am: Chit chat with the Butler while he makes you a coffee.
8:02am: Fire up Premiere Pro, clear the inbox and check the feedback on yesterday's edit.
8:20am: Creative team catch-up. Review this week's filming schedule, publishing deadlines and what's landing on your desk next.
8:45am: Time for your first deep work session. You're refining the opening 30 seconds of this week's flagship YouTube episode because every second counts when it comes to retention.
9:30am: Jump into After Effects to build some slick text animations and motion graphics that take the edit to the next level.
9:50am: Bathroom Break. You can do this whenever you want, this is just an example!!
10:15am: Quick review of YouTube Studio. You notice a drop-off point in last week's video and make a note to tighten a similar section in today's edit.
10:45am: Share your latest cut with the Creative Team and gather feedback before making the final tweaks.
11:30am: Polish the audio, colour grade the footage and add the finishing touches that separate a good edit from a great one.
12:00pm: LUNCH. The Chef's made something lovely. Obviously.
12:30pm: Enjoy a stroll around the nature reserve outside before diving back in.
1:00pm: Work on another long-form edit. Tightening pacing, trimming unnecessary moments and making sure every scene earns its place.
2:15pm: Design some custom lower thirds, transitions and animated graphics to reinforce the Entrepreneurs Circle brand.
2:50pm: Bathroom Break! Again, no pressure to schedule these!!
3:00pm: Final export time. Double-check captions, audio levels and quality before handing the episode over for publishing.
3:45pm: Spend some time creating ideas for thumbnail graphics or visual treatments that could improve click-through rate on future videos.
4:30pm: Review tomorrow's shoot plan with the team so you know exactly what's coming into the edit next.
5:15pm: Organise project files, back everything up and make sure your workflow is ready for another productive day tomorrow.
5:45pm: Clear the inbox, tie up any loose ends and head into the evening knowing another brilliant piece of content is ready to help thousands of business owners.
6:02pm: Log off and head home!
Of course, every day will be different and you’ll be trusted to take ownership of your schedule.
THE NITTY GRITTY:
We work in our outstanding Head Office on Blythe Valley Park in Solihull. It’s bright, colourful, fun and you’ll be equipped with the most cutting-edge tech known to man!
We pay full-time salary, but our working hours are 8am to 6pm, Monday to Thursday.
Which means we don’t work Fridays.
SALARY & PROGRESSION
The salary for this role is £38,000 - £48,000, depending on your proven experience with a list of projects and what you bring to the table.
We're looking for someone who wants to become a key part of our growing creative team.
Someone who takes genuine pride in producing outstanding work.
For the right person, there'll be plenty of opportunities to grow as our media operation continues to expand.
