The Role
We are looking for a reliable Picking & Packing Operative to join our warehouse team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, takes pride in hitting daily targets, and loves seeing a job through from start to finish. You will also get the chance to learn all about our unique wool products and grading types.
Your daily tasks will include:
- Picking & Packing: Accurately selecting wool products and securely packing them for worldwide transit.
- Physical Handling: Moving, lifting, and managing bulky, heavy packages throughout the day.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operating a pallet truck to move stock around the warehouse.
- Inventory Care: Helping to keep our warehouse organised, tidy, and running efficiently.
Working Hours & Breaks
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm.
- No Weekend Work: Enjoy your weekends completely free.
- Daily Breaks: 1 hour of unpaid break time split throughout the day to keep you refreshed (two 10-minute breaks in the morning and afternoon, plus a 40-minute lunch break).
Who You Are
- Experience & Training: Previous experience working in a busy packing or warehouse environment is highly welcomed, but full training will be provided if you have the right attitude.
- Active & Resilient: This is a physical role. You will spend your shifts walking, standing, and lifting heavy, bulky items.
