We are looking for a passionate and reliable Chef de Partie / Breakfast Chef to join our small, friendly kitchen team.
The Role
This is a dynamic, hands-on role where you will get to wear a few different hats. You’ll be responsible for keeping the kitchen organized, nailing the morning prep, and jumping on the line to cook and plate dishes during our busy peak rushes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prep Work: Preparing fresh ingredients daily (chopping veggies, making sauces, prepping proteins for salads, wraps, and sandwiches).
- Service & Cooking: Cooking and plating classic brunch dishes, eggs, and breakfast items to a high standard.
- Station Management: Keeping your section clean, organized, and fully stocked for service.
- Food Safety: Maintaining strict health, safety, and hygiene standards (HACCP/Food Safety Level 2).
- Teamwork: Working closely with the Front of House team to ensure smooth service and happy customers.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience: Proven experience working as a Commis Chef, Chef de Partie, or Breakfast Chef in a fast-casual, cafe, or restaurant environment.
- Skills: Strong knife skills and the ability to multitask between prep and live service.
- Speed & Efficiency: Ability to keep your cool and deliver great food during a busy weekend brunch rush.
- Attitude: Reliable, punctual, and a team player with a positive energy.
- Hygiene: Valid food hygiene certificate (or willingness to get one quickly).
