Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, and treatments tailored to each client’s preferences and hair type
- Deliver specialized services such as barbering, eyelash extensions, and makeup application to enhance client satisfaction
- Provide excellent customer service by actively listening to clients’ needs and offering professional advice on hair care and styling options
- Manage front desk duties such as scheduling appointments, greeting clients, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace
- Mentor junior team members by sharing techniques, offering constructive feedback, and fostering a collaborative environment
- Upsell additional services and retail products to maximize client experience and salon revenue
- Stay updated on current trends and techniques through ongoing education and industry research
Skills
- Proven experience in store management or salon operations with strong organizational skills
- Skilled in barbering techniques with the ability to adapt styles for diverse clientele
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Effective communication skills for engaging clients and collaborating with team members
- Ability to mentor others while maintaining high standards of professionalism
- Knowledge of eyelash extensions, makeup application, and other beauty treatments is highly desirable
- Strong sales acumen with the ability to upsell services and retail products confidently
