Job Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for a Casual Fleet Driver to join our Fleet/Corporate team on a 0-hour contract basis.
The role involves delivering and collecting cars and vans for business customers, moving vehicles between locations and supporting the wider fleet operation.
You will represent the company when dealing with customers and colleagues, so a professional, reliable and friendly approach is essential.
Hours
Due to the nature of this role, no hours are guaranteed by either party.
Work will be offered on an ad-hoc basis according to operational requirements, with work potentially available across weekdays and weekends. Early starts may also be required depending on operational requirements.
You will be paid for the actual hours worked, one month in arrears, at the applicable National Minimum Wage rate.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver and collect cars and vans safely and on time.
- Move vehicles between company locations and customer/business premises.
- Carry out basic vehicle checks before and after use.
- Ensure vehicles are kept secure and cared for.
- Report any vehicle damage, defects or issues.
- Provide a professional and friendly service to customers.
- Support the wider Fleet/Corporate team as required.
What You Need
- Full, valid UK driving licence.
- Reliable, punctual and flexible.
- Professional and customer-focused approach.
- Ability to work independently.
- Right to work in the UK.
Pay
From £12.71 per hour for workers aged 21 and over, in accordance with the applicable National Minimum Wage.
There are no guaranteed hours under this casual/0-hour arrangement.
