Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Roofer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining roofing systems on residential, Your expertise will help ensure the safety, durability, and weather resistance of roofs, contributing to the overall integrity of our projects. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret roofing schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to plan installation or repair procedures.
- Prepare roofing surfaces by removing old materials, cleaning surfaces, and ensuring proper alignment for new installations.
- Install roofing materials using hand tools such as hammers, trowels, and pry bars, as well as power tools like nail guns and drills.
- Perform welding or fabrication tasks when necessary to reinforce or customize roofing components.
- Use heavy lifting techniques safely to handle large materials like shingles, metal panels, or insulation.
- Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure it meets safety standards and project specifications.
- Collaborate with carpenters, masons, plumbers, and other tradespeople to coordinate seamless construction workflows.
Requirements
- Proven experience in roofing installation and repair with a solid understanding of roofing systems.
- Ability to read schematics and technical drawings accurately.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication techniques.
- Construction experience with knowledge of masonry, carpentry, plumbing or related trades is highly desirable.
- Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting, working at heights, and outdoor conditions.
- Familiarity with safety protocols related to roofing work and construction sites.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail to ensure quality craftsmanship.

Pay: £101.68-£261.55 per day
