Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. Responsibilities
- Assist with daily personal care routines such as bathing, dressing, and mobility support
- Monitor and record Service users conditions, reporting any changes promptly
- Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals at home
- Assist with medication management as directed by healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided using IT systems
- Communicate effectively with patients, residents, families, and team members to ensure seamless care delivery
- Support transportation needs by driving clients to appointments or activities when required
Experience
- Previous experience in providing home care is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
- Familiarity with following care plans is preferred
- Basic IT skills for documentation and communication purposes are desirable
- Good command of English, both written and spoken, is essential for effective communication
- Valid driving licence is highly beneficial for roles involving home visits or transportation duties
- Excellent communication skills and a caring nature are fundamental qualities for success in this role
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract
Pay: £14.00-£17.50 per hour
