Perfect opportunity for labourers. We are looking for a Trainee Line Marking Operative to join our growing team. This is a hands-on role working on a variety of road, car park and surface marking projects across Devon and surrounding areas.
Previous line marking experience is not required as full training will be provided. We are looking for reliable, hardworking individuals with a good attitude and willingness to work flexible hours including nights.
Working Hours
- Day shifts: 6:00am – 4:00pm
- Night shifts: 4:00pm – 6:00am (approximately every 2 weeks)
- Some night work will involve working away across Devon

Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with the application of road and surface markings
- Preparing work areas and equipment
- Loading and unloading materials and vehicles
- Supporting the team to complete projects safely and efficiently
- Following health and safety procedures at all times
- Travelling to different work sites as required
Essential Requirements
- Valid CSCS Card
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Willingness to work day and night shifts
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Able to work away from home when required
- Good attitude and willingness to learn
Desirable
- Previous construction, highways or groundwork experience (preferred but not essential)
