Based in Lincoln, Tradeglaze is a growing, award-winning manufacturer and installer of bespoke windows and doors. We work with trade, commercial, and domestic customers across the Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire, and South Yorkshire regions to supply innovative high-end glazing.
We are looking for a Window Fitter or a team of Window Fitters to join our Installations Department. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidates to develop their skills in a fast-paced, supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
· The ability to install windows, doors, conservatories, and other bespoke products to our high standards and the current building regulations.
· To work according to the current Health and Safety standards.
· Maintain a clean and organised work area.
· Work efficiently as an individual or as part of a team.
· Provide a high level of customer service.
· Accurate and timely completion of paperwork.
Key Skills:
· 2+ years of experience of fitting uPVC.
· Experience of fitting aluminium would be desirable.
· A driving licence is essential.
· CSCS or a relevant skills card would be desirable or a willingness to work towards is essential.
· Attention to detail is required for this role.
Other Information:
· You will operate on a self employed basis and receive a rate per window / door etc, which will be paid in full weekly on satisfactory completion (gross CIS).
· Based on the current status of our order book we expect this position to be full time for the foreseeable future, offering a mix of new build and domestic work.
· You will be provided with a van, if required, which you will pay a contribution towards. You will be responsible for fuel.
· A willingness to travel an hour and half from Lincoln and start at our Lincoln depot at 7.00 am.
· You will be required to hold public liability insurance, provide your own tools and protective clothing.
