An established nursing home is seeking an experienced Clinical Lead to provide strong clinical leadership within a medium-sized service rated "Good" by CQC across all areas. This is a key clinical leadership role focused on delivering safe, effective, person-centred care to elderly residents, including those with palliative care needs.
The Role
- Provide visible clinical leadership to the nursing and care teams
- Oversee delivery of high-quality, person-centred care
- Lead on care planning, risk assessments, and clinical decision-making
- Manage medication systems, audits, and clinical governance
- Support residents with elderly and palliative care needs
- Lead clinical supervision, appraisals, and competency assessments
- Ensure full compliance with CQC standards and inspection readiness
- Cover the RGN shifts if needed.
- May need to do night duties at times.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RGN) with an active NMC PIN
- Previous experience as a Clinical Lead or Senior Nurse
- Strong clinical experience within elderly and palliative care
- Strong knowledge of CQC standards, safeguarding, and clinical governance
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
