Mix of 9am-5pm plus longer shifts sleeps (40 hours per week)

We are looking for a Deputy Manager to support the RM and the wider staff team, in the running of an 8 Bed Children's Service in Congleton, Cheshire.
The provider has another 6 services across the North West and Yorkshire, all with a good rating.
The service is running and works with young people between the ages of 8-17 with EBD, mental health complexities and various care needs. The service has been renovated and converted from a larger public building, so you have access to excellent facilities, a dedicated staff team, and an organisation that will support you with training.
The role is Permanent, 40 hours per week and a mix of 9am-5pm and longer shifts. The unsocial hours works slightly different here due to higher basic pay (£23-25.50 per hour start) so there is an additional £2 per hour on average for Hours worked Saturday/Sunday and all waking nights. Sleeps are also £70 per sleep on top.
Roles Include:
- Supporting the Registered Manager with the day to day running of the service, including staff management, one to one support, rota's appraisals, on shift work and OFSTED paperwork.
- Championing care and ensuring each young person's needs are being met, in line with OFSTED requirements.
- Able to diversify and work both in office, on shift, with clients and with staff
Experience Required:
- Minimum one year experience as an OFSTED Deputy Manager/Will Consider strong team Leaders or RM's too!
- NVQ 3/4 Residential Childcare- Essential
- Ability to work a mix of office hours and longer shifts- Essential
- Driver with own vehicle- Essential
