Philpots Manor School is an independent special day school for pupils with identified social, emotional, behavioural, mental health needs and social communication difficulties. Some children have been diagnosed as being on the autism spectrum. The school promotes an ethos based on compassion and kindness, mutual respect, integrity, responsibility and resilience creativity and innovation.
This is a practical role incorporating routine equine and animal husbandry and supervision of young people in our equine yard. The Yard Assistant will take responsibility for ensuring a high standard of care and welfare of the equines and small animals (rabbits and chickens) at school and ensure that students are supported to work to professional standards whilst on the yard.
Two days per week, including one weekend day.
